HLTAID003 Provide first aid

The HLTAID003 – Provide first aid is Nationally Accredited course that is trained and assessed by TRY Learning (TOID 21053) in an active classroom-based environment. The training program develops the necessary skills for participants to apply first aid in a variety of settings. This one day refresher training is offered to students who hold a current HLTAID003 Provide first aid certificate, and gives participants the opportunity to refresh their skills to perform basic CPR, deal with medical emergencies, fracture and wound management and much more. It also has the added benefit that you may never have to sit through a two day first aid Level 2 course again with beginners. The training provides participants an opportunity to expand on their current skills and knowledge and a forum to learn the most current guidelines rather than wait for three years. Successful students will be issued with a Statement of Attainment by TRY Learning (TOID 21053).

The 22300VIC – Course in First Aid Management of Anaphylaxis is VRQA Accredited course that is trained and assessed by TRY Learning (TOID 21053)in an active classroom-based environment. The training program develops the necessary skills for participants to manage the emergency first aid of anaphylaxis. This is a half day hands on training program and gives participants the opportunity to develop and refresh their skills in dealing with managing the first aid treatment of anaphylaxis emergencies. This is level 2 first aid course specifically designed for educators and teachers working in the early childhood education and care facilities and kindergartens/schools. It meets the first aid, anaphylaxis and asthma training requirements for educators under the ACECQA approved qualifications. CPCCWHS1001 Prepare to work safely in the construction industry 

The CPCCWHS1001 Prepare to work safely in the construction industry is a Nationally Accredited unit and is trained and assessed by TRY Learning (TOID 21053). This unit of competency specifies the mandatory work health and safety training required prior to undertaking construction work. The unit requires the person to demonstrate personal awareness and knowledge of health and safety legislative requirements in order to work safely and prevent injury or harm to self and others. It covers identifying and orally reporting common construction hazards, understanding basic risk control measures, and identifying procedures for responding to potential incidents and emergencies. It also covers correctly selecting and fitting common personal protective equipment (PPE) used for construction work. Successful students will be issued with a Statement of Attainment by TRY Learning (TOID 21053).
